New Album!!

Breakfast flambé is coming almost three years after Nightbirds mainly due to the many changes that occured within the band. Still it reflects the musical influences that enriched the band’s repertoire through travels and cultural discoveries like the city of New Orleans which inspired the song “Southern Blues Dance”.
This album is far more detailed as far as sounds and textures, the song “Black Dahlia” for instance has a gloomy and dark feeling which gives a heavy mood to the tracklist. In general the arrangements are more ambitious, the influences more diverse and accurate, yet the band preserves the simplicity of the Haferflocken sound.

Exporting New Orleans Art and Culture to the Wider World
The New Orleans Airlift is a New Orleans-based organization that supports and sustains New Orleans art and culture by facilitating artistic opportunities for the city’s artists domestically and abroad.
The Airlift also extends an invitation to host selected foreign artists in New Orleans. The Airlift can facilitate collaborations with local artists, book gigs, organize exhibitions and create unique introductions to the incomparable city of New Orleans.

The band will be on the road for a tour oganized by Patchanka Booking Agency. This is an interesting step for the band who has mostly played in the region so far and will now enlarge it’s horizons.

La “tournée parisienne” that last from the 11th to the 21th of july was a success and we enjoyed nice food, good public and complicated metro trips. We had a great time and we didn’t even have to face the so typical pluie parisienne to spoil the journey.
